The conditions for use and Purchase

Replacement Registration keys

We use a soft-lock Key to protect our software.

This means that when the free trial period expires by EITHER running out of the number of tries for using it, or the number of days of using it, the software will cease to operate without Registering and paying the appropriate fee.

One major downside to this is that should you need to replace an older computer with a newer computer, then the software will revert to it's trial status when installed on the new computer and after the trial period, it will cease to work again.

However, providing the registered copy that was on the old computer has been destroyed AND the software on the new computer is it's direct and ONLY replacement you can get a replacement key for no cost. Previously we have always issued unlimited replacement keys without question and without charge.

CASE 1:
In recent months we have had significant increase in such requests. One of our customers in the UK, who uses our software had requested a large number of replacement keys over short period of time. After a visit to their premises, they were actually using them as new Registered COPIES and NOT replacements.

CASE 2:
An engineering company in the U.S. that we visited was using 5 copies of our software and had only registered 2. They had requested replacement Keys for failed equipment.

CASE 3:
Another U.S. engineering company had requested replacement keys which we found to be running on 3 computers and they had paid for only 1.

CASE 4:
An engineering company in the UK had 3 copies of our software running on 3 computers and had Registered only 1.

So once again the few spoil it for the many and we are now limiting the no-cost replacement key for a SINGLE REPLACEMENT copy to UNLOCK the software.

Once we have supplied you with a replacement key, if you change computers again then you will need to re-register and pay the current price for that software. That will automatically give you a single free replacement key for it if ever needed.

We sincerely apologize for having to institute this policy but there are many thousands of man-hours in some of this software and we too have to pay wages and utility bills.
